Curried Rice Ham Rolls

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 4 cups cooked brown rice or 4 cups long grain rice
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
  • 12 slices deli ham (1/8 inch thick)
  • 4 hardboiled egg, sliced
  • 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk, divided

  • 1 in a skillet, sauté the onion in butter until tender, about 3 minutes.
