Curried Potatoes

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 750 g potatoes, peeled and diced
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 1/2 teaspoons turmeric
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 small onion, chopped fine
- 1/2 teaspoon dried red chili pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
Recipe
- 1 saute the potatoes in the oil for 5 minutes.
- 2 add the remaining ingredients and mix gently but well.
- 3 cover and cook on a medium heat until the potatoes are tender.
- 4 uncover and allow the potatoes to become crisp.
- 5 serve.
