Curried Mustard Lamb Chops

Ingredients

- 1/2 cup spicy brown mustard
- 1/4 cup dry wine
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 green onion, sliced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 4 boneless lamb loin chops, cut 1 inch thick (about 1 pound total)
- papayas, mango (optional) or star fruit slices (optional)
Recipe
- 1 for marinade, stir together brown mustard, wine, curry powder, oil, red pepper, green onion, and garlic.
- 2 place lamb in a plastic bag set in a shallow dish. pour marinade over lamb in bag; seal bag. marinate in the refrigerator for 6 to 24 hours, turning bag occasionally.
- 3 drain lamb, reserving marinade.grill for 30 to 35 minutes or until juices run clear, turning once and brushing with marinade halfway through grilling time. discard any remaining marinade.
- 4 serve lamb with fruit and, if desired, cooked brown rice.
- 5 total time does not include marinate time.
